By real names Josephine Jessica aged 22 she was born in Uganda on 18th November 1995.She is an O.G of east high secondary school Ntinda after she graduated from Ndejje University.she stays in munyonyo
She started singing in her senior six vacation till date counting 5 years now in the music industry.......

Josephine has worked with the new obsessions,city rock entertainment and by that time she was called J.JAY and after re-branded to Candy Africa currently independent working on her solo carrier as an artist she has 4 songs playing on air with her new track called DUB AND POSE produced by Kaysam kumapesa from switch records......

we had some brief interview with her and this is what she said Josephine said she would love to work with sheebah and Ziza Bafana but she said Uganda music industry still faces a problem of poor management and promotions.....

she explains that managers dont want to work hard to bring up names for there own artists as they want to find those that have hustled and made it already mean artist with big names and for the issue of promotion she {Josephine} said law finances causes poor promotions no matter how good your work money is still needed to push it....

Candy Africa finalized with a message to all  upcoming female artists they should never let people take advantage of them just because they want to make it in the music industry everything good will come at the right time patience pays.....
