Biography
Deodee Muhima, known professionally as Tha iCON a.k.a Epic, he is a Ugandan Born - British Citizen. Tha iCON is a Multi-talented singer / Songwriter / Entertain / Recording Artist and former professional British Soldier, who served in Afghanistan, Kenya and Iraq and got a medal for his services in the British Army.
In 2010, Tha iCON released his first solo singles “Empisazo” , “What if” , “Nga Balongo”. In 2011, Tha iCON lost his beloved Mother(r.i.p) and later in 2015, he lost his father(r.i.p). He gave music a break since then until 2018 in February when he released his platinum hit single “Muli Munze”. Tha iCON is currently working on his debut studio album.
With his distinctive sound and style, Tha iCON revisits simple profound aspects of human experience in love, desire, joy, lust and pain a relationship to inspire his music. Music is a form of expression and art, “I pain music with my voice in words and melody”.
Tha iCON is signed under a music label called “GENIUS EMPIRE” and has a music crew called “Camp•300•Musik®”.
Tha iCON’s music is driven from the influence of Michael Jackson, Joe, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and the multi-talented R.Kelly as his music role models.
